“I love this park. So beautiful. First and second Welland canal run through it. Still has a lock from First Welland and can see lock going under the road of the Second Wrlland canal. The issue with this park has always been you never feel safe in this park. A lot homeless people and drug use. The city has never made this park a priority. Way to much garbage along both hillsides. I am still giving a 4 star it is a must visit during day if you love the local canal history.”

I would strongly recommend this place over private rehab facilities that aren't regulated. I attended "Stillwater " in welland and managed to stay 10 days. The quality and structure of Newport is superior over Stillwater, and you don't have to pay $12,000!”
