So the atmosphere was calm relaxing joyful the people were smiling and in Good Tidings I would suggest this church if any church to feel welcomed no matter who you are or where you came from
Okay I have to say that out of every church that I've ever been to I have never seen so many people so happy and delighted and cheerful they were very respectful and polite and inviting I would definitely suggest this church to anybody who wants to be invited no matter what you look like sound like or who you are
We went to watch our friends play the piano for a Christmas concert. The music was beautiful.
This is one of two Eagle River churches that I like a lot. I feel confident recommending any of my friends to attend Sunday church services here. There are a few meeting times available every Sunday.
My kids enjoy attending the youth church activities on Sunday, and that should tell you a lot.
I had attended Sunday worship here many years ago, and had moved away for a few years. When I moved back, I decided to return to the same church in Eagle River. There were quite a few new faces, but I was glad to see that the people were just as happy as when I had attended church in the past.
My kids started attending Sunday School, and have learned a lot from the excellent teachers they have had over the years.
There are regular community church activities throughout the year. Some are geared for the kids and some are for the whole family to enjoy. I happen to be a big fan of church potlucks, you can always find some new recipe to enjoy.
Good, wholesome, christian church activities are a must for my family. I have attended several camping trips that have been focused on growth and learning experiences for my boys, both gospel and basic skill developing. That’s a win-win combination.
I’m particularly fond of the rafting trips and zip-line trip that I was able to chaperone for the young men and young women over the years of pleasant local church attendance. It’s kind of hard to remember all of the camping trips I’ve been on that were organized by the local church leadership.
The church youth programs here are a real priority, and it shows with all the youth church activities they have going on all the time. They have a calendar planned out a year ahead. It’s nice to be able to plan that far ahead for my family.
It’s not all camping and hiking activities either. They have youth basketball, and youth volleyball too. Local church talent shows can be fun to watch everyone participate in, and they are a great way for your kids to learn about the others in the congregation, or for other people to get to know your kid’s talents too.
My kids and I have been involved in many church service projects over the years. It’s a nice way to get to know the community, and for the community to get to know our family church in Eagle River. I mean hey - who doesn’t like the berm shoveled out of the end of their driveway for them?…
My wife likes it here too. She has attended classes on a whole bunch of fun topics, both church related, and life-skills orientated. She makes friends attending classes and teaching classes. Always something to do when she wants to.
Sometimes I think she attends church activities to get time away from me and the boys, but she’s nice enough to say that it’s to socialize with her friends at church. I really don’t care what the reason is as long as she keeps coming home happy. So far, so good!
If she hadn’t attended church in Eagle River over the years, I wouldn’t know half the people that I do. I think she’s introduced me to more of my friends, then I have found myself.
I can’t even count how many people my family have helped move into and out of the area. If you have some boxes to load into a truck or trailer, or to move into your house, just give us a call, we will be there in a flash to help you. Expect a dozen or two young men and women to show up and move you in almost effortlessly. Church service projects like this are great for everyone involved. (We really prefer to help people move into Eagle River - just saying.)
You can probably tell that I’m a big fan of this place. If you are looking for a fantastic family church in Eagle River, you can’t do any better than this location. Stop in any Sunday morning and grab a seat, but that’s only part of it. If you want to get the full experience, introduce yourself to several people. Who knows, maybe you will meet a new best friend, or even me, or possibly both.
I would love to see you at church next Sunday.
Ward is very friendly. Beautiful place to worship.
