Although I’ve had a lot of Asian food, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavours and textures of the dishes. We enjoyed everything, except the mee siam that was way too sweet. The 2nd base on the street cocktail went very well with the food. On the expensive side, given the tapas size of most dishes.
If you're looking to try out a new country's cuisine, please please try out Les Street Monkeys(Cambodian),in addition to all the other Asian cuisine I have tried, this was just as good,if not better! The Lamb chops I ordered were medium rare and Full of Flavour!just one bite and I was absolutely amazed! For me the star of the show was the moms Veggies, these pickled veggies are some of the cheapest on the menu, but they came tasting fresh, juicy(yes, juicy) and Full of flavor, you CANNOT leave without ordering this! The sticky rice was a nice compliment to the rest of my meal. For the drinks, judging by the standards set by the food,I expected a little more in terms of taste, but all in all I still enjoyed them. Our waitress was great, she was helpful and catered well to our needs.
My only issue with this restaurant was that the portions were very little for the prices,I left the restaurant feeling like I had half a meal,so If you're going here, get ready to spend.
I would definitely recommend investing.
This place is definitely worthy to save in your pocket list. I strongly suggest you to make a reservation before going because they are always full-booked. I really like this place. I’m not sure if this is authentic but it’s perfect for me except for the noodles was too sweet for me. The soup was really good, I can assure you their seafood was fresh, not like the other Asian restaurants in which you could taste the seafood was stored in freezers for a long time. Their fried papaya salad was so creative !!! We’ve never tried fried papaya salad. It’s new for us. It was surprisingly not greasy which it tastes fresh for the appetizer. We also ordered their chicken wings. It’s must to try. I love the lemongrass flavor in the chicken. They got rid of the bones inside and stuff the meat inside of the chicken wings. Very tender, but you may need some cocktails to clean your palette for this bcuz it’s really meaty. Their cocktails were really good. I ordered the yuzu cocktails. My friends and I were impressed. Love the atmosphere and the food. I’ll def come back to try more food on the menu.
Another great meal on Promenade Wellington!
Great atmosphere and nice menu that features traditional Cambodian dishes as well as adaptations of classic dishes. Fun staff - I recommend sitting at the kitchen bar to watch the chefs! Fresh, delicious flavors - do not pass on Les Street Monkeys.
This restaurant never failed to impress us!
The service the food the prices the ambiance everything is just perfect. This is my most deserved 5 star rating.
We never knew Cambodian food would be that tasty and rich in flavors.
Would definitely recommend and I’m pretty sure we’ll be coming back very soon to try everything we didn’t yet try!
