(December 6, 2022, 7:04 am)Usually the border officers ask sensible questions and let you pass if they find answers reasonable. With the new temporary visas that are being issued as visiting Visa with validity till passport expires and all we need to inform is what our status is and show supporting document such as Student or work permit etc.
(November 18, 2019, 9:46 pm)Visited around 4PM on a Monday. No line, quick process and the Canadian Border Agent was very friendly. After answering the usual questions, we were on our way. The views after crossing into Canada are very nice compared to the main crossing via I-87. I'd recommend taking this route if you wish to get a glimpse of the Canadian countryside.
