(June 7, 2023, 3:22 pm)Very friendly East African restaurant offering food to suit both vegetarians and omnivores. We had the sharing platter for two option. With one cocktail and one tea the bill came to just over €40. The food was very tasty, the cocktail excellent. We thought it represented excellent value and had to go for a long walk afterwards as we were very full.
(April 23, 2023, 3:10 pm)Hidden gem in Cologne. Very friendly and attentive staff. We had the platter with a variety of Ethiopian dishes. I do recommend this as you get to have a bit of everything. The lentils were my favourite eventho I’m a carnivore. And overall all dishes were finger licking good.
Including drinks we paid 105€ for four people. Which from my point of view is more than reasonable. Will definitely go there again.
(July 5, 2019, 4:54 am)Very nice Ethiopian restaurant. The wait is friendly and speaks good English. My Ethiopian friend who visits this restaurant together with me confirms that the food there are very local taste. The only problem may be that they put all the food into very nice small bowls which makes the restaurant looks higher class. However, it is not easy to grab food from those small bowls. Anyway, I like this restaurant.
(December 16, 2018, 5:10 pm)The atmosphere is super cost. It's a great place to go on a date if you don't mind getting messy with your hands. The staff is super friendly and quite attentive.
The food took a while to come out but you make the most of it with some wine and conversation. I wouldn't say it's the most authentic, I mean you cater to your audience but still pretty good food. That Injera is super fluffy and just perfect. The lentil dishes were the best!
I would definitely recommend this spot.
