Rancho Bugambilias

Such an amazing location and view, close to the lake and grocery Brookshire Brothers, great pools, hot tubs, music, parking.. but this time our rooms were old rustic, which I liked but not the undermaintained plumbing as drainage was slow, dirty carpets and cracked floor. Last time we had washer dryer too but not this time. Clean and enough dishes, clean sheets and towels but such small TV's like computer monitors. Heat and air was good too. Master bathroom toilet was not only smaller than a stall but the flush tank had to be adjusted every time for it to fill up and the tub was open in the bedroom with an emergency room like L-shaped curtain which made the room humid as the exhaust was only in the toilet. All faucets turned opposite to open and close.

Being a part of the resort network, this place is of pretty typical quality for one of their resorts. If you don't look too closely, it's nice. It can lead to a good time within the resort itself, with free: heated pools, ping-pong, pool table, putt-putt, tennis, board game and movie rentals, and daily scheduled activities. And they have a game arcade where you can purchase arcade cards to play. Overall, it's a pretty good deal for the price as a family getaway.

Only gave it 4 stars because the carpets could have been cleaner. The fridge had sticky stuff on shelves and door handle. Found a huge stain on cushion in lockout unit. Which I removed & washed. Your welcome. Then found a stain on mattress cover when I broke down the bedding. Not cool!!
Otherwise we had a great time!

Overall a good place to stay. The grounds we very well maintained, the commons area was fun. There is a great miniature golf course. The rooms were not very clean, had a musty smell, there was paint drops everywhere even on the kitchen table. The carpets were stained. We stayed here as a stop off point to our other destinations. so we didn't spend a lot of time in the unit.
