La Palapa Beach at The Lighthouse

The friends and family that were there for this particular event made it great and the band was nice. But the service could use a little bit of an overhaul. I think they're in the process of making some improvements so I will look forward to updating this review when that happens!

Great beach bar, pretty good pizza, margaritas were tasty. Enjoyed the band on Saturday night.

A decent dining experience on the Saturday evening we ate there.
I APPLAUD them for making fresh tortilla chips - too many restaurants open a bag for their chips nowadays and this was a pleasant surprise.
The staff was very friendly but the menu was limited when we went and it’s definitely not a Thai place. A teriyaki bowl was the closest Asian dish.
The fry on the fish and shrimp for the tacos was good and the ample toppings were nice. Unfortunately they should have doubled up on taco tortillas because they were very thin and started splitting apart at the first bite making a complete mess half way through.
The prices on the menu were in dollars and they are fair for the times but it’s definitely a place that caters to tourists.

It's a nice clean place with beautiful sunset. Plenty of parking. Nice view. Friendly staff. Don't have many people just a handful or nobody's here. The waiter recommended burger for lunch. I ordered double hamburger with fries. Fries were good freshly made. Burger tasted good too. After few hours of eating. I started to feel sick the same day. It has been now 4 days, finally getting better little by little. I suggest do not order their specials or ask for the waiter what their recommendations to order. Other than this. I have eaten there before. Everything was good. My mistake was asking their recommendations.

Small hole in the wall place with great views. Bartender makes strong drinks and food was good. We ordered two margaritas , a BLT , a avacado salad , and one coke. Price was 19 dollars and down change. Then BLT was great full of bacon and the fires that come with it were handcut and the best I have had in along time much like the fries in Europe. The salad was fresh and all ingredients were beautiful. The dressing was good get the vinegrette . Nice stop in the way to Ensenada .
