Nice restaurant to taste typical Dutch dishes in Amsterdam. Great quality and variety of the food, and the service cannot be better: waiters are very kind. In the pictures, bitter balls, cheese selection, salmon and dutch beef: all of them really good choices. For sure, I’ll come back: 100% recommended.
One of the finest place if you want to taste typical Dutch meal.
We tasted the stamppot. The taste is good but unfortunately Dutch dishes are not that elaborated, but we enjoyed the experience.
The quality served is correct .
The service is professional.
The dining experience at De Blauwe Hollander was so amazing that we made a reservation for a second night! We tried a couple of traditional Dutch dishes here - Erwtensoep (hearty pea soup), Bitterballen (fried breaded balls of stew/roux served with mustard), the Dutch Stamppot (beef), red berry Genever (distilled malt alcohol - this was superb!!), Slavinken (meat wrapped in bacon), and Poffertjes. Each dish was well prepared and definitely a meal to remember, yum! Menu is reasonably priced and a big plus - their staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home from the moment you enter till you leave! Would definitely recommend dining here if you're in the area - but also probably good to make a reservation because they are almost always full 😋
Traditional food, very well served and great staff. Enjoyed everything from this experience. Highly recommended and I'll be returning for sure.
