The Bulldog Palace

Brilliant vibe this place and a must visit while in Amsterdam. Yes, smoking is freely welcome, but no tobacco inside, please, as most smoking cafes in Amsterdam promote. Whether sitting inside or outside, this place just has a certain feel and confirmation that you're in Amsterdam. Make sure you check out the back wall promoting all celebrities that have visited the Bulldog. Pumping music, live bands adding to the cool atmosphere. You need to pay to use the toilet, but it is worth the donation once you see the style. Be careful, though, after a few beers and smoke as stairs are steep. Enjoy this Amsterdam classic! We visit every time we come to Amsterdam and are never disappointed. 5 stars as always from me.

It is worth a visit 😀 Food and drinks can be improved, but I really can't complain much

My first visit to a world famous place like "The Bulldog Palace" at the Amsterdam Leidseplein wasn't bad at all. Apart from the cannabis in a separate coffeeshop, the Bulldog is advertised as the living room of Amsterdam. Housed in a former police station The Bulldog Palace makes a very well organized impression with lots of Dutch celebs on the huge terrace. Prices are reasonable, especially for the centre of Amsterdam.

Relaxed and layed back place to rest. You can eat outside with drinks (alcohol) too, which is a nice combo. A bit pricey but great location and vibe. Fun place!
