Rob Wigboldus Fishmonger

This place was suggested by a local and I'm really happy I follow it. The staff was nice and the prices pretty affordable. I tried the kibbeling and although I heard the most typical way to presented is deep fried I found really tasty and the locals that where visiting the place with me also appreciated.

yummy, traditional and quick! the owners were so sweet~ they only take cash and it's a small place so not much seating... very good!!!

Rob is the best. Super cool guy and will return here every time i’m in Amsterdam. Herring sandwich was incredible, and the banter I had with Rob was unmatched. Super friendly!!!! Forewarning, it’s cash only so be prepared - it’s totally worth it!!

Went in 2018 and had to come back again in 2022. It's around €2.50 and it's just amazing. Fresh, little snack. Gerkin, herring, onions, bun everything was perfection. I would've gone every day had it been convenient to where I was going.
