A-Bike Rental & Tours - Vondelpark

Found that there were a lot of bike rental stores around the city, but this was certainly the best value for money with friendly staff who provided great service. Had a blast. Thanks for allowing me to make memories! Will be back again when visiting.

I took a guided bicycle tour of Amsterdam and learned so much of the city's history in a three hour casual ride. Many stops along the way learning on a route showing the many faces of the city. I'd do it again and highly recommend it.

Amazing tour, great to learn how easy it is to ride in Amsterdam on a bike. Sevv the tour guide was great, we did the city highlights tour and we stopped at all the best canal spots and learnt about all the good history! Good for people who know how to ride bikes, if you are nervous on a bike be careful, there are lots of cars around.

A-Bike Vondelpark is located very centrally near Leidseplein, and they offer a wide variety of bikes for all ages. It's very important to make a reservation online before you visit (several walk-ins were turned away while I was there due to availability). I rented an e-bike for a family member while they were in town visiting, and our experience was fantastic - the employees were all knowledgeable and helpful, and we were able to get a very nice, new, premium e-bike for the entire week. We rode around the city and beyond every day, and we never needed to recharge the battery. If you have a preference for which bike you would like, they may be able to accommodate at check-out. The line can be long (the biggest drawback, but that's to be expected), but employees made sure that our rental bike was set up properly, and they gave us a charger for the battery. There are lots of bike rental companies in Amsterdam, but I will be returning to A-Bike next time we have people in town to visit.

Friendly and helpful staff, highly recommend! Juan was very helpful and kind, especially for us two newbie bicyclists interested in strolling around Vondelpark in attempts to feel like locals :) It was his first day in the job and he expertly helped describe our bike options, installed baskets for us and took our photo upon our request. We rented for two hours and would be happy to return in the future for any additional bike rental needs.
