Loved this shop. A lot og guitars and excellent staff :)

I went in to try two Telecasters because I am looking for one that feels right. I asked politely and was allowed to try them both while left to my own with an amp. The tech who does repairs was friendly. In the end the guitars just weren’t feeling right so I left without one. I sensed absolutely no expectations of a sale nor any intense atmosphere that seems to permeate many small guitar shops in the EU. I appreciated just being able to do what guitarists do which is hunt for a personal feeling instrument. They have an incredible selection of fenders and gibsons and also had some gibson custom shop stuff which was brilliant. Also lots of boutique pedals. Would buy from in the future.

I went to Dirk Witte after being to some other guitar stores, with the goal of finding my first ever American made Strat without knowing much about Strats and during corona times. The staff were extremely nice, helpful and friendly. They took the time to explain anything I asked. I could also tell they really love what they’re doing and that they genuinely want to help. I spent hours trying different guitars, took a break and came back later to make a final decision. They were very patient and accommodated the request of also picking the guitar up a few weeks later in turn for a small down payment. When picking the guitar up, as you can see from the images, they cleaned it up, changed strings and piled the fretboard - the playability improved immensely. Overall very impressed and can only recommend this small shop over other larger ones that just try to up sell stuff!
