“Great school for learning Dutch. It's not for the casual learners - it's an intensive, thorough approach to the language - toward fluency, much beyond inbergering. Teachers are great. I've only done remote classes, but they work very well. KS makes learning a difficult language easier and enjoyable.”

“Cozy little greek restaurant with amazing food! Maybe it was the owner who served us, an older Greek man, he was a little forgetful at times, but very kind. Food came quick. The food was so delicious, and there were plenty of it. Could have used a little more tzatziki, but other than that everything was great. One thing we were annoyed about was all of the delivery guys who came through the restaurant when we were eating. That was very disturbing..”

“For the fitness, cardio and weights, definitely go here. A large hall with nearly any machine you can think of is there, and there's always something you can do in the hall. The only thing that isn't there in the hall (or not very visible at least) is the staff. When you enter the building though, they're always very friendly!”

“Modern yet cozy ambience. Fine dinning nicely executed. Friendly and attentive service that cares for the details. The multi course journey was complete and intense. A little overpriced in my opinion but good option if you’re not on a budget. For more experiences like this follow @quiquinnv”

“Absolutely amazing sweets shop. Their products line and the ambience, both are great. I would recommend a dine in over takeaway; of course when the situation allows. I love their Triliçe, which I could only find here. Their baklava and other sweets, such as western ones like Cheesecake are also too yummy. Highly recommended sweets shop in Amsterdam.”

“What a pleasant treat! I'm a moderately experienced comic collector and was blown away by the selection, the costs were excellent (they don't inflate the prices on recent back issues or variants. As the owner said, it is a community of people that are in the store. (Seriously, they have customers that just help out in the store). I would visit constantly if I lived here but I like that I have somewhere cool to go when I get to come back. They are very accepting of everyone and they have a ton of knowledge. I could go on forever, but check them out. Take your time, it could feel overwhelming at first. Tell them what you like, they have great suggestions and suggestions. They also have an Instagram account that they keep up to date with info.”

“Endless summer is great! The instructors really know how to teach, take into account safety, but most of all; they are extremely passionate about kite surfing! Their enthusiasm is easily transferred to their students, you get super excited after only 1 lesson already. If you doubt to try kite surfing; go for Endless summer.”

“I worked with FBC as a model on one of their shoots and the production was super buttoned up. There were a lot of models and moving parts to manage going into hair, makeup and wardrobe and everything was seamless. Would love to work with them again on a shoot in Europe or the US!”

“We are so happy with our stay! Totally worth it to pay a little less and live a short distance outside city center. Super convenient to take the bus right outside the hotel, 10min. Or walk about 20-30min which we did one day to explore all the beauty of Amsterdam! So stunning! Clean and tidy room. Big enough for two people. One negative thing is the paper thin doors, but still not too mad about it”

“Wonderful labyrinthine cd-store (you'll see what I mean) managed by a couple of weathered record sales men. Looks chaotic, but many treasures to be found. Also the front of a really terrific webshop (on Discogs). Great service.”

“I bought a portable didgeridoo through LIDAH Drum's etsy shop. Fabulous! A very beautiful didge that I was able to make a sound with, on the first day. Lots of fun and very calming--I can't recommend didgeridoos enough. The didge is also beautiful and looks far more expensive than it was. Thank you!”

“I registered via the website on the advice of my masseuse. Unfortunately, my appointment was double booked and the person who was in Gerard's agenda at the same time as me insisted on being treated by him. Since I just wanted to be cracked, I didn't care by who at that point, as long as it happened. Gerard then went to discuss with his son whether he might still have room. Beforehand, Gerard seemed to be the right person with all his experience and certificates, but his son does an excellent job (so I now have no experience with Gerard, but since the father has trained the son, you could say that there is nothing wrong with his treatment ). The misunderstanding has been resolved satisfactorily. If you are at the beginning of your career and you have a natural talent for this work, you are doing something good. After this first appointment, I was given the choice to be scheduled with Gerard the next time. I returned that choice, because I was helped very well. The welcome at the reception is friendly, the atmosphere is a good balance between informal and professional. The decor is sleek, clean and tidy. The location, on the North side, may not be the most obvious. There is parking space, but it is fairly limited if you want to park close by. A little further, on the Paardenmarkt, there is a lot of space. The bonesetters is also easily accessible by car, bicycle and on foot. For people who like to experience a holistic view of their complaints, The Bonesetters is a great counselor!”

“My husband and I happened upon this place on our first night in the city and had such an amazing time! The Manager Niles was welcoming and accommodating. Our server Victoria was friendly and helpful. The food exceeded expectations! As non-drinkers we appreciated and enjoyed their mocktails! And of course playing darts was a blast. Such a great concept, and a night to be remembered. We will definitely be saving this to our favorites while in Amsterdam, and will try to come for another visit soon!”

“A fabulous night! The performers were amazing and they made sure the whole audience were included in their show. We were there for a hen do and our bride to be was given some dedicated time on stage, which again was amazing. The only down side to the venue is the price of drinks- TOO EXPENSIVE!!”

“This back office museum has been my favorite of my entire trip to Amsterdam! English proficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Sadly, no tours. However, I spent more than 2hr in this tiny museum. The love and knowledge of all the members of this chess organization shine through. On floor 30A wall right in, they can even be talked into playing a few games if pressed.”
