“Interesting museum with an interesting take on colonial ancestry of the Netherlands. That was a predominant theme in the museum. Various exhibitions on many floors. The central hall is a beautiful place, although its vast emptiness feels there's something missing. Would be a good place for some huge highlights of a temporary exhibition etc. Despite visible efforts, the navigation leaves much to improve.”

“Excellent museum. Well laid out exhibits and displays Something for all ages Didn't try the cafe or walk around the grounds as I was on a tight timescale trying to squeeze as much in as I could. Approx £15 entrance and ample parking. Staff helpful and informative”

“One of the very best meusum for children in the world. Good place and excellent mind blowing interiors. Historical architecture always makes our eyes pop because they seem incredible. Good for tourist purpose and good for photography purpose as well. You can get some amazing shots for your Instagram feed. Have a walk. Do visit to see something out of the box.”

“What a fantastic tour. Angel was our hostess for the day and she was amazing. She answered every question we had (and I had a few lol) and recommended a few items (which we have brought 😝) The club was immaculately clean. Best part of our holiday. Want to go back one day and actually go to the evening.”

“A really nice museum, I wasn't expecting to have so much to learn. I read somewhere you could easily visit it in 2 hours but I'd say something between 3/4 hours is the ideal. We couldn't see everything as much as we'd like because of it. It has a lot of interactive points. Can only recommend it!”

“This museum shows the sustainability within the fashion industry. There is a section for decorating a pair of white shirts, which costs 15 EUR. Because this activity does not include dyeing, it might be a bit surprising but it is really interesting to designing your own shirts.”

“This is by far for me the most beautiful and interesting museum i have ever been in my life. Amazing design, top of the art paintings, polite personnel that lets you take pictures. Keep in mind that you have to book your visit in advance. Amazing experience! I definitely recommend this place while you visit Amsterdam.”

“This back office museum has been my favorite of my entire trip to Amsterdam! English proficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Sadly, no tours. However, I spent more than 2hr in this tiny museum. The love and knowledge of all the members of this chess organization shine through. On floor 30A wall right in, they can even be talked into playing a few games if pressed.”
