Active Badminton Center

Good place but gets extremely hot and humid when playing. I understand ventilation must be limited to create a windless environment, but expect to get super sweaty

Nice court with a pro court. Easy to get bookings compared to Bond Cres. Floors aren't wood though so hurts your joints a little after long sessions. Parking is limited too, so 1 star off for both those things.

The only badminton center around Albany.
It is co-ordinated with the north harbour badminton center.

Once you register with any of them uou can book the court online.

It is like $15-20 per hour

This is a good place to play badminton. There’s vending machines with food and drinks and it also gives you lots of chairs on the side so it has excellent service. It’s also very fair as when the previous group’s time is up the lights will go out for a second so people won’t go overtime, I think this is very smart and fair. The active badminton center gives lots of people a place to play badminton locally and to have a chance to try badminton 🏸
