“This was a great 3 hours ride/walk with 5 small kids and their bikes while adults walked and talked. We joined from Hartfield and headed towards East Grinstead. A few passed us in both directions bit this was nice a quiet. We had a picnic and headed back. Will go again. Kids are not overly experienced on bikes, my 2.5 yr old was on his balance bike. ”

“A beautiful area with paths around the rocks that are easy to follow. It is highly unusual to have bedrock above the ground like this in south east England, so it makes a nice, unusual place to visit. From a purely aesthetic perspective, I would say that the nearby Toad Rock and Bull's Hollow are slightly more beautiful, but Eridge is larger and so it is a better location for an easy country walk.”

“Set in beautiful countryside.... Owner very helpful and we had an escort to the site. Plenty of lovely outdoor space.... You can have campfires in the fire pits. There are toilets and washing facilities although these are portable. Really lovely lake that you can fish... Back to basics... Just what camping is all about. ????”

“What more could you ask for? Quiet, comfortable, different, STUNNING forest, a really really special place. Will happily recommend to all my nearest and dearest as well as return again. We stayed off season and it was perfect. Loads to do locally but really you don't need to leave and Charles and Lisa are absolute diamonds, they work super hard and really make a huge effort to make sure we had an amazing stay.”
