“Found this pub by chance and very pleased we did before it quickly filled up for lunch. It's obviously popular with people in the know as some tables were already reserved. We had mussels in wine and Pernod with a door step of bread and a lump of butter. Absolutely delicious and didn't break the bank at £9.95. Only had one unopened muscle too, so very good value for money. The lemon tart with raspberry sorbet was to die for. If we lived locally we would visit as a matter of course. Large selection of cask beers and wines of the world at very reasonable prices make this a must visit. Staff very polite and helpful. I already envy you locals for having this gem.”

Had heard great reviews of the school and after looking at many schools in the area, moved to Groombridge Village so my child could attend the local preschool then the local infant/primary. It's not disappointing. Its reputation speaks for itself, not only praised by Ofsted over the years but parents as well. Great teachers, lovely support staff and pupils and great community support. Very happy child, happy Mum and Dad.”
