“A very pleasant evening in this "gastropub". Music was not too loud. The food was very good, as was the service. Prices reasonable. I enjoyed nearly every bite of my meal (a fillet steak) with the exception of the lukewarm, and slightly droopy "double-cooked" chips. Would happily recommend and I also will be back.”

“Lovely roast pork loin sunday lunch, with fresh vegetables that were cooked just right, beautiful roast poatoes and a gravy to die for. Not cheap, but a generous portion - including a huge yorkshire pudding - and obviously freshly prepared from quality ingredients. Just off the A12 and well worth the five minute diversion.”
