“Poppies Bed and Breakfast was hands down the best place I've ever stayed. Pam and Paul were so hospitable, unbelievably helpful, and beyond nice. The breakfast was delicious; Pam and Paul were so accommodating with food restrictions, time of meal, and offered delicious chocolate banana cake. They were also so helpful with transportation and helping us figure out our plans post stay. I cannot say it enough, Poppies Bed & Breskfast was fantastic. I highly recommend staying here!”

“My daughter and I stayed for one night back in June. Our room was spacious,clean and very comfortable. We decided to have lunch there which we enjoyed so much that we booked in for dinner as well! Had a lovely meal with nice bottle of wine. Had a very nice breakfast the following morning. Staff were really polite, helpful friendly throughout our visit.”

“This is an absolutely lovely hotel. It has a regal atmosphere and is comforting in so many ways. The room was top notch. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were a great mid point between soft and supportive (something very difficult to find in a hotel in general). The building and grounds are gorgeous and the staff were all quick, attentive and happy to help. The room was exceptionally well kept by the housekeeping staff, even with the dirge of items we had for two weeks of staying plus racing that weekend. The restaurant has a great selection of meals and the cocktail bar is on point. I had a great blended scotch recommendation that I thoroughly enjoyed. 10/10, will stay again.”
