“Don't get me wrong, this place is insanely expensive. BUT. you'd expect that in Knightsbridge. If you can spare the rapid drop in your bank account, then the beer choice is great, the bar snacks fantastic (specially the squid!! Oh the squid!!) And the place a joy of old school British pubs. “Fantastic food! The beef Wellington was absolutely delicious! We stopped in on a Wednesday evening around 530pm and had our young daughter in tow. The pub was crowded and noisy with the after work crowd having drinks but the tiny restaurant in the back was empty, and though it seemed like most tables were reserved, luckily they managed to find us one. It definitely wasn’t the type of place that seems used to having kids, but the waitstaff was friendly and very accommodating. She had chips and greens, both of which were very tasty.”
