“I like it here. Second visit now, each time with a different barber. Both had slightly different approaches. The silver-haired Cypriot guy gave me a more subtle cut – "a haircut for people who don't want to look like they've had a haircut." Chatty, interesting conversationalist. Told me he used to cut Jeremy Corbyn's hair in the 70s. That was about a month ago. Second time today. The other guy (bit older, quieter, but also v pleasant, probably also Cypriot) went a bit shorter, but I have to say, it looked as good if not better. Nice to see people who are so good at their job deploy their skills in such an understated way. Relaxed atmosphere too. Charged me £11, but I rounded it up to £15 and still good value.”
