“I've never been into this store and I probably never will. I also don't usually write reviews but reading through the comments and someone writing the "Irish Prat" has caused me to react. I've dealt with this shop over the phone and I've dealt with the Irish shopkeeper whose name escapes me. He was extremely knowledgeable extremely pleasant to deal with and helped me with my query. I bought the goods I needed after his advice and they were sent professionally packaged and within expected timescales. This first purchase was around 4 years ago and the products are still in use and other purchases since that first purchase have all been received in the exact same professional manner. I have no need to back this store as I live many miles away but good service deserves recognition and you will no be sorry that you dealt with this store.....that is unless you are a prat!!”

“Tried a few Chinese takeaways in the area and this is by far the best. It is also one of the better Chinese takeaways i have been to in England. They do have their off days, like every other takeaway i have been to, where the portions may be smaller than normal or there will be no mushrooms in the beef with oyster sauce but this is few and far between. The food there is varied, really tasty and off decent size. Unlike another chinese takeaway not to far away where i ordered beef in oyster sauce they do not trick you by giving you a full box with very little meat and a hell of a lot of onions. The husband and wife there are also really nice. Recommended.”

“John fitted our dishwasher for us and did a great job. My wife said John was a very nice guy and made her feel at ease. Sometimes it's stressful having workmen in your house but John was great. She also mentioned how obvious it was from the outset that John was an expert at his job and knew exactly what he was doing. We wouldn't think twice about asking Barnfields to do work for us.”
