“I have eaten fish and chips around the world but have stopped doing so because there is no point: the World's Best Fish & Chips are at Ossies, and everyone else's is a huge disappointment. We always feel that we are treated as old friends when we come - and bring all our family and friends here whenever they're in town so they can experience the warm service and freshly cooked food. We always eat in and even the tea and gherkins are superior to what I've had at other far swankier establishments. The owners know our orders off by heart, the portion sizes are HUGE, and I come here whenever I need a pick-me-up. It's actually my favourite 'restaurant' in Croydon and we've lived here 25 years.”

“Great place, been coming here for years. Advice don’t hit too late on cause they seem to slack off a tad and get a bit lazy, don’t give you full salad, sauces, service etc.. But generally a good shout.”
