(August 13, 2018, 9:25 am)This has been our vet of choice from almost the moment when Tim Halford established the practice in Northfield Avenue decades ago.
He had a real gift with animals and all of our cats warmed to him immediately.
This is also the veterinary practice favoured by many of the locals who are involved with the Pets As Therapy programme (PAT) which brings well-tempered and affectionate pets into care homes and hospices to bring comfort to the residents.
(August 3, 2018, 9:59 am)I cannot thank Aideen and Siobhan enough for their superb professionalism and care when they attended our home to help our beautiful 15 year and 10 month old dog pass. What genuinely caring people - exactly what you need when faced with the terrible sorrow of losing a beloved pet. Thank you so much - so pleased to be back at Alcombes after moving from MyVet24/7. Thank you wonderful Debbie on reception who coped brilliantly with my sobbing and told me not to worry about payment until I was ready. Wonderful practice and local too.
(June 26, 2018, 9:06 am)Amazing vets ... I absolutely love these guys, truly caring and attentive. Nothing is ever too much. Calm relaxing clean practice filled with animal lovers ... reception staff are also fantastic and try to meet my needs as best they can. I have 2 huskys and they love alcombe too. They especially love the treats they get upon arrival ???????? ... all in all the best practice i have ever used.
(April 23, 2018, 4:28 am)Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. My Star is always very well looked after. She has been to clinic many times and thanks to doctors she is a healthy and happy cat.
She was spayed and vaccinated in here also she made her re-appearance to the clinic couple times after neighbors cats fights!
