“Everything about Coogan’s is superb. I have over 20 pairs from them and all are superb. I have just revisited the website after 12 months and was going to reorder some of my favourites such as dark brown Hoxton brogue boots. Very sad to see that they have a limited option available at the moment. Would really hate to have to shop elsewhere. The shoes are well made, look beautiful and are so comfortable. Well done to coogans.”

“Great family owned independent children's shoe shop. Owner, Mark, was really helpful asking lots of questions about what I needed when picking out shoes as a gift. Highly recommended.”

“I wanted to review The Manager at Sports Direct Friern Barnet - his name is Wayne. I have been to that Sports Direct many times and always found it a difficult experience. But, what a difference with Wayne there! He was so helpful, quick, friendly and got us exactly what we wanted even though our first selection was out of stock. I want to make sure that you realise what an amazing Manager you have there! Big thanks to Wayne and because of him, I will be back to shop at Sports Direct!”

“Would be nice if the shop was a little bigger, but I have no real complaints. The clothes here are lovely, as are the staff. They are both knowledgeable and customer-friendly. Staff in certain other shops could learn from the staff here. Top marks all round.”

“Amazingly good "old school" cobblers who do higher quality repairs than the chains - and usually for a lot less money. No, they can't repair everything, but they are so good with soles or heels that seem to look trashed, their wonderful work can seem like magic. Well worth going a little out of my way to take shoes to them.”

“Quite a good range of shoes for an outlet store. Prices reasonable, not quite as good as I expected but cheaper than a main shop. Found some comfortable shoes that I hope will last a long time. Not enough seating to sit down when trying on a pair, but apart from that a good enough shopping experience.”

“When it comes to women’s shoes Spice, a retailer run by brother and sister Simone and Gerard since 1985, should be on you top 10 list. Their two stores in Islington and Primrose Hill are in keeping with traditional TSL style – an independent family run business that started life on Camden’s market selling plimsoles to fellow Londoners. Since then the sneakers have been switched with beautiful heels and more sophisticated flats with prices heading higher. Think quality not quantity which will last for years to come... To find more unique and independent places why not visit the Twenty Something London website!”

“Great customer service. I tried on jeans to get the sizing right as I had seen a pair on sale online. Staff found the jeans online and ordered them. Staff seemed friendly, helpful and professional. When the jeans arrived I tried them on in store and they were a perfect fit.”
