Been to most country parks in the Kent area and for me this one is the best .
Long and interesting walks decent cafe clean toilets water for the dog everything you need from a country park. Top tip make sure you bring change for the car park ...I have never been able to make the mobile payment system work
Beautiful place to visit, some very lovely walks, hop shop and lavender fields near by, nice little shop and cafe, toilets and relatively cheap parking. Can walk along the river from the visitors centre to Lullingstone Castle and would gardens less than a 10 minute walk
Nice country park, ideal for families, couples or groups looking for a walk with the option of a coffee and a cake at the end (or the beginning).
The signposted walks are nice and easy to follow with plenty of nature to see and hear. Could do with a map of the walks from the car park rather than having to go over to the visitor centre to see it. The centre is spacious with a play area and good choice of food and drink. Pretty noisy on the sunny days as it’s rammed with kids and the carousel usually has at least two car alarms going off but after a couple of hundred yards walking you can’t hear this and are off into the peace and quiet. Car park is pay and display, just under £2.50 for the day and option to pay by phone although signal isn’t great so be warned!
Visit this place often for walks also close to Castle farm and its Lavender fields. Short river side walk then open fields by the golf course. Great for wildflowers including some rare orchids. Can get busy and a charge is required for parking . Cafe on site reasonable
Went here with my partner today, and we really enjoyed it. There's a kids play area, a cafe (with great looking cakes) and a good gift shop. Most of all we enjoyed the endless fields of daisies which led onto a golf course and woodland. Although there were plenty of cars parked at the site, there was still plenty of space for us to roam around uninterrupted and seemingly alone which was very peaceful. The river within the woodland was beautiful and calming..surrounded with benches to relax on and reminisce.
The castle was closed today but we managed to walk to the entrance through the park. It was jaw-dropping. We will definitely be coming back just to see inside.
We'd definitely recommend coming here for a relaxing, peaceful day out for couples and families.
