(October 10, 2018, 3:02 pm)It's unfortunate that I can't give five stars due to the blank stares I got when I attempted to explain someone else had opened a tab on our booking and maybe they should look into this - but otherwise this was a really good visit and I will definitely go back again. Pub is beautiful with different areas for whatever you prefer (open and modern, snug and cosy, fun and outdoors) and the food is awesome. I had a big sharing started as a main and they didn't look at me like I was a weirdo for asking.
(October 1, 2018, 9:46 am)Great food, there's always an interesting menu. Lots of space, the beer is usually very good, and service very pleasant. Lovely big garden. A number of local walks start/end at the Poacher, details of which can be found at the pub, which is a nice touch.
(September 26, 2018, 9:13 am)Love this place for a quiet evening meal, a great selection of beers to warm the winter evenings. During the summer they have a lovely outside bar for a great lazy summer atmosphere. Parking is brilliant, wheelchair accessible, always ready to accommodate. Booked online before, brill.
(August 29, 2018, 10:03 am)I loved this place. I have to admit I stumbled across it looking for a bathroom while visiting a local church, but fell in love once inside and stayed for food and drinks! There is a wood for pizza oven, an outdoor burger bar, a kids play area, a nice indoor restaurant. I was super impressed and would definitely visit again.
