“I have worked at Kippington Care Home for 2 1/2 years as a Health care Assistant, we have a great work team. Edwin the Manager has improved the atmosphere and can often be found singing with the residents. Our Catering staff work hard to provide Healthy and Nutritional meals for our residents. Our domestic staff make sure all the rooms are kept clean and tidy, and the Laundry staff take special care to clean and iron the clothes and return them to the correct rooms . Whilst our Health Care Assistants and Nurses care for our residents daily needs with understanding, compassion all the while retaining our residents Dignity and giving Respect. The Entertainment team provide activities to stimulate the Mind and Body, we also have outside entertainment in the form of Musicians , Singers and we have visits from the pat dogs for the residents who like animals to stroke. There is a small garden for our residents to enjoy the sunshine, they can sit by the fish pond or walk around the garden to see the Squirrels and birds feeding. I enjoy coming to work, being a familiar and friendly face in the mornings for our residents. Jackie”
