  Wonderful position in the village. Lovely old world atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast excellent. Restaurant prices quite high but food was good. Our room was spotless if a bit tired. Felt bedside lamps would have been useful and having to move the television across the room to plug it in, not ideal! However all in all enjoyed our stay and would revisit.

  We only stayed for one night but were impressed. Good range of beers and spirits and we were warmly welcomed. Our room was comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Unfortunately they were having trouble with the heating and it was chilly. Lovely dining room and whilst the menu was not expansive the food was excellent; best steak I have had for years. We found the staff friendly and professional and we would definitely visit again. Well worth the effort to find it.

  Really tasteful decoration and comfy beds. This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful village. You will have a warm welcome.
