“I used to bring my two children here when they were younger to feed the ducks.I came with my teenage son and it is still a popular place. The area around the pond is fenced off from the busy road and the ducks flock looking for food as you enter the gate. There are a couple of picnic tables/benches which are great for summer picnics.There is also a gentle country walk that leads from the pond. Opposite the pond is a pub/restaurant 'Manor Farm' named for the farm.I have not eaten there but it was nice for drinks one evening. The farm shop opposite is popular too though I found it to be expensive in the past as these places generally are(not visited this time so not able to pass comment on what is sold).”
