New Realms Tai Chi On the Web

Home page | New Realms Tai Chi

Loose fitting clothing and light trainers or plimsoles are fine for starting Tai Chi. (but preferably not thick black soles that may mark the sports hall floor). *14-16 years old may be enrolled if accompanied by parent/guardian or other adult authorised by them.

Sessions | New Realms Tai Chi

We certainly want everyone to enjoy the evening without feeling pressured - Tai Chi is about improving health and relieving stress after all. Then we "wind down" with stretching and therapeutic exercises and a few words highlighting a Tai Chi or associated Taoist or other principle for the week ahead.

Subscriptions | New Realms Tai Chi

We just ask you, after a month or so with us, to wear Tai Chi or equivalent black open bottomed trousers and a plain white T shirt (tucked into the trousers). The subscription is payable on the first Tuesday of the month by cash, cheque or by direct payment to bank.

What we do | New Realms Tai Chi

New to Tai Chi? You'll love it! Tai Chi is a continuous series of slow and progressive movements (called the "form"). You use your feet alternately as you move your weight to release them and step (ultimately glide!) through the moves, with your arms and hands taking shape and moving in unison...

Who we are | New Realms Tai Chi

Opening New Realms Tai Chi has given me the opportunity to take all of that much further by imparting how the traditions of dedication, perseverance and working in harmony with the vigour of nature are of increasing relevance in the modern World. Peter Parsons, Chartered MCIPD, RPCQI.
