“Grew up in Crawley so I know the forest very well. Shame you now have to pay for the zoo there. But the forest, lakes and the long walks with nature is fantastic. Great for picnics and taking the kids for something fun to do outside with minimal cost involved”

“A wonderful, relaxing area to walk around. My granddaughter adored seeing the birds and animals. Also great play area. We loved walking around different areas, still so much to see. It is a large area. Great cafe and also a large ranch style restaurant. We I'll be going many more times. Loved it.”

“This was the best dining experience we have had for a long time. Food fantastic and the service the friendly, helpful staff gave us was second to none. We love the new restaurant! It was like being in the garden and the garden looked wonderful from the warmth indoors.”

“Paddock Hurst Park is a lovely rural area close to Balcombe. West Sussex. Unfortunately most of it is private with is a pity. A walk down back Lane is very rewarding as it straddles both sides of the park. There is also a public right of way from the junction with Stoney Lane through to Great Strudgates farm on the eastern side of the park. ”

Countryside centre, interpretation, sculpture trail, toilets by car park. Beautiful lake. Love it, an asset for local residents.”

“Ice rink overated 8 pounds for 45 mins plus 4 pounds for the penguin. Not really worth it for me. But nice ambience and staff there and coffee shop too. Then again at least we have one!”

“Lovely field, used the small hall on the green for a birthday party. Simply well equipped small kitchen and toilets. Just about accessible path for cars to the hall, but gravel carpark nearby for the field use has a far too high hump/ridge on entry/exit. Regardless a lovely little place to borrow for child's birthday party. Thank you.”
