“Fantastic venue. Have hired Galleywood Heritage Centre several times and never had any reason tp complain. Nice spacious hall with plenty of natural light and a great garden area outside, also plenty of parking space. Enough tables and chairs supplied by the hall to comfortably seat at least 100, good toilet and a small but well provisioned kitchen is available for hire. Staff are very helpful and happy to help with any issues. Also nice to visit the hall when it is open as a cafe but as it is volunteer run its best check before visiting on the website. There is also many events on at the hall throughout the year and a smaller room at the back where Galleywood history displays and pictures can be viewed.”

“We came to this pub as a group from work for a team lunch. The pub is pretty there is a very warm inviting atmosphere, the service was quick and friendly. Getting to the Venue was easy and there is plenty of parking at the back. It being lunchtime the pub was quite busy however our food orders came out quite quickly much to the appreciation of my group of hungry lunchers. The menu is varied and even as a vegetarian I had quite a few options to pick from.”

“Friendly and efficient service. We had three hot chocolates and one jasmine pearls tea. The hot chocolates were served in glasses and were lovely and creamy. The jasmine pearl tea was delicious. We also had a chocolate cupcakr with a raspberry mousse and raspberry, orange and almond 'tray bake' and a gingerbread person. The decor is retro with subtle lighting. Metal framed chairs and tables add to the feel. Great place. I would recommend it.”

“Very good coffee. The only gripe is the beef tomatoes in the sandwiches. It can get really busy at peak times - so much so that there are no seats available! It can be a bit of a creche though - every time I have been here, there is a crying baby to listen to; fine for the parents, but a real mood killer if you are just trying to relax with a nice coffee.”
