“Always a warm welcome and a gem of a community cinema. Runner-up in 'The Best Group' category for the 'Love Where We Live Awards' and truly deserved.”

“We used this hall for my daughters christening and 2nd Birthday party as it was local to us and was perfect for what we needed. The hall had great kitchen facilities which made catering at the site possible. We were able to have a bouncy castle and use the music system to play tunes for the kids. The toilet facilities were great for young children. Booking was really easy and they were really helpful with any queries we had. Would definitely recommend and hope to use the hall again in the future!”

“Saw the Grinch, first thing Saturday morning. But odd that they open the doors only 15mins before first showing, but comfy enough. Kids loved it.”

“Amazing experience and staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. I love it but it’s quite expensive so it is a one off experience (at least for me) but I enjoyed sitting in the car, listening to my own radio and being able to chat to the people I’m with. I wouldn’t recommend taking a car full of people as those in the back seats can’t see. The screen is huge and good quality. There is a food truck and they bring it to your car. My car kept entering eco mode so I had to keep the engine running which burnt through next to no fuel, and the attendants come to place covers over the car lights so you aren’t dazzling anyone :-).”

“Just left after watching Minions. Much prefer this over regular cinema, screen was nice a bright, huge screen, you're not cramped in like cattle in your seat, can have it as loud or quiet as u want, can chat easily amongst others in your vehicle without disturbing everybody else, own comfortable temperature, can easily respond to texts etc without too much fuss. Staff were polite and helpful. Easy to use website, £18 is about right which you can get if you book online. Easily found the place on Google Maps even though it's fairly new. Just generally well thought out. It's about time Scarborough had a decent cinema option! ”

“This place is the only move theater worth going to. The couches are comfy, the snacks are good, and the staff are always super friendly. I love how I feel like I am watching a movie from the comfort of my living room - but nah, just at the Everyman.”

“I enjoyed going to this cinema as the parking is nice and close to the facility and the chairs were very comfortable in the auditorium. The only negative was lack of staff serving refreshments before the film started. There was a big queue with 2 people serving who were very lack lustre and in need of a burst of energy. Whilst others mooched around in the background with much the same attitude and energy levels. Making conversations getting the servers involved, slowing thing down even more.”

“Typical Evertman. Good comfy seats. Good service. Top price seats at back have adjustable settings. Drinks a tad pricey but they need to be profitable I guess.”

“It was a really interesting place to visit. The staffs there were nice and makes you feel welcoming. I will love to go back for other types of events to see other spaces that they have within.”

“Its been a good few years since i came to this place and the transformation over time is amazing. The concept of the comfortable reclining chairs is so cool! The food, drink and snacks sold are at a fair price. Id say its worth it if a good film is on and you're treating the family.”

“Ticket prices not bad but prepare to pay over the odds for everything else and wait a while to be served. Comfy seats with sufficient leg room whilst watching your film of choice. Screens are nice and big and sounds great too.”

“A great view from the bar on the top floor and there's always something interesting/ unexpected taking place. You'll probably have the best time here when the weather is fine (but everyone else will probably have the same idea). We love going to the ceramics markets hosted here as well as popping into the art exhibitions. The bars are great and you the food has always been really good.”

“Service is good and depending on time of day you go it's quiet and empty. Cinema is really big but easy to navigate. Also they have a large parking facility which is perfect. The standard seats are good but the premium seats and 3D/IMAX is totally worth the money. I rarely get disappointed here. This cinema probably does the best nachos as they heat it up properly and give hot cheese and are generous with the portions. Unlike other cinemas they just give cold pot. The self service machine is a bit slow at times but that's fine because you can skip the que quickly. But I would recommend to book in advance for less hassle.”

“On previous visits I’ve been seated in the front area, which is relatively small and enjoys natural light. This time we were in the back, miles from the piano, and I felt a bit like we were sitting in the football field. Too big. This is particularly odd as we were able to order an extra classic tea and just hand it over.”

“Great screens comfortable chairs, No numb bum. Snacks can get pricey. Myself and two children entrance, popcorn and drink each was over £50. With this in mind the overall veuing is my reason for a 5 star rating”
