  Is may 5 star rating because: This park offers shade protection for the kids playground & the tables are right in the play area for easy breaks of water & snacks? Or because: The park has Bathrooms & Ballfields? Or because: The play area has MUSICAL " instruments " for the creative minds! YES!

  Fun park for all ages! They have a giant swing that 4-5 kids can sit on and lots of swings for littles. Giant rock formation to climb, great gazebo area, well maintained restrooms. Most importantly, the playground area is fenced in 👏👏👏👏

  Wonderful walking trail with man-made ponds, greenery, wide open spacing yet secluded and serene, shaded in spots with seating along the path as well as multiple play areas for the children. Has a lot to offer in many ways!

  I enjoy starting my bike ride here and heading to the Dismal Swamp. The ladies restroom has always been clean and tidy! I'm an early rider so I don't know about later in the day or early evening. There's a nice walking and running path. Please, come out and enjoy this recreational facility because you won't be disappointed!
