After being born with hereditary cataracts and losing one eye at 12 years old, I waited until my other eye was at 20/100 before searching for a surgeon. Dr Kloess did my surgery and I'm now 20/20 and my life has changed dramatically. He's the Best !
Dr. Kloess and his staff are all great. Very efficiently run office. Not a lot of wait time at my appointment. My surgery went very well.

I can not say enough good things about this doctor. He explained the procedure in detail so that I understood exactly what he was going to do during the cataract surgery ... He answered every question I had and made me feel so at ease as if I were the only patient he had. I definitely recommend this doctor.
My first visit was yesterday. I drove from Decatur. I found this place from an online search. The location is great and very easy to find. The office was very clean & presentable. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. The Technician (Ray) was also extremely kind and helpful. I’m glad that I chose AVC. My visit was with Dr. Kloess. He was very pleasant, honest, knowledgeable, attentive and thorough. I’m experiencing red eyes along with some crusting. He examined my eyes very carefully, ran some tests and shared information with me that I had never received from my optometrist. He explained to me about my eye pressure and the effect it can have on my eyes. He sent me home with some drops. I will go back in a few months to see if there’s any changes. I am so glad that I found The Alabama Vision Center and that I was connected with Dr. Kloess. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!
