(January 26, 2019, 2:25 am)I am what is known as a lapsed Catholic and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and Father Deering are the reason that my family and I returned to the fold.
The Catholic Church is the only church I have ever left feeling better and more at peace than any other denomination.
There's a moment at the end of Communion,where the priest is collecting the excess communion wine and wafers and is cleaning the Communion vessels. That one moment tells me more of significance about the priest and his relationship with God.
Father Deering is incandescent with the purity of his service and loving devotion to his calling.
