This is one of the most comprehensive collections of US Army history in the nation. They have everything from tanks, to rifles of the revolution, and everything in between. For the Jeep lover like myself they have the first Jeep ever made, along with the prototypes leading up to that first one! It is worth being on your list of stops in the area.
Such a cool place with so many awesome things to see. History is very interesting and to see pieces of all the wars in our country's past is fascinating. All of the staff was very friendly and do a great job of running this museum. Highly recommend coming of you're in the area.
Took my family to the museum and it was humbling. The military equipment and staff is amazing. The staff is highly knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Our kids loved it. Can't wait for the expansion and to come back.
Amazing display of military artifacts. Great staff who can tell you as much as you could ever want to know about the items and history of the items in the museum. Plan to spend more time than you think. The museum is packed and worth the time to read the information provided. Also plenty of military bases around, got lucky enough to see Apaches training!
Small building but lots of military history. Good variety from local items to overall military items. Only two negatives are some dated signage (which is not uncommon on smaller musuems) and almost too much in the building (but thats just a location/funding issue). So much good historical items I had to give a larger donation on my way out to help the upkeep of all the items.
