“I am so lucky to have this park so close to home. I love the wide variety of trails. Some are in the woods, some by big rocks, some in grasslands and the best by the creek. There is an area by the shoals perfect for swimming and wading in the summer and a couple of tables by the creek for picnicking. They have a love covered pavilion and restrooms. If you live in the area you must visit and get back to nature in Shoal Creek Park”

“I have been there on a couple of occasions. Once, I was bringing my nephews and recently I brought my granddaughters. They all seemed to enjoy the old company store and the mine exhibit. There is some cool memorabilia. The owner knows the interesting history of the mine and the family that owned it. I gave the museum 20$ for the two adults and four kids as the curator was not going to charge for the children. Otherwise, the sign says $5 for adults and $3 for children over 12. It is a short visit and only a few minutes from Montevallo. It is worth a visit if you are passing through the Montevallo area.”

When we walked in we were immediately helped and greeted by the sweetest man ever. He helped us pick what we should get and was a major help!! He had such a positive vibe and a comfortable environment and that shows with his food. The food was absolutely amazing. This place needs more hype!!”

“I’m so incredibly pleased with their work! My laptop screen was damaged, and other dealers were quoting me at $900+ for the fix. They did it for $500, and had it ready within a day! Even sweeter, I had a collection of stickers I was sure I was going to lose when they replaced the back, but they took the time to peel my stickers off and put them on the new back almost exactly as they had been on the old. It was an unexpected and totally sweet touch, I’ll definitely come back here for my tech repairs.”

“I want to be fair, this domino's has been my go to place for pizza and I've been happy with my experiences but they did let me down when I ordered the honey bbq wings because they were not completely covered in sauce. 1/3 of them had no sauce. And I ordered 6 diet cokes and none of them were cold. The pepperoni and mushrooms pizza was phenomenal. But I didn't have a cold coke to wash it down. I'll order again from here but probably won't get the wings”

“Just viewing the park in Google Maps,, it looks too small to accommodate much of anything. Actually, there us a surprising amount of space. Really nice, well maintained grassy area with plenty of room to set up a small stage, accommodate seating and still have room for dancing. It was perfect for DRUM the Program (West African culture, drumming and dancing).We'll definitely check out other events being held here in the future.”
