Shadescrest Health Care Center

I have been employed at Shadescrest Health Care Center for 14 years. I enjoy working with my co workers and making a difference in our resident’s life. We treat our residents like they are one of our own family members. I would recommend our facility to anyone. In my opinion it’s the very best nursing home in Jasper.

Great caring atmosphere. Everyone is very friendly and you're treated like family. I have been employed here for 40 plus years. I love our residents and my work family.

Very nice place. I've worked here for over 6 years and absolutely love my job and work family. My mom and future mother-in-law have both had rehab stays here as well and both were very pleased. No "nursing home" smell, which is very nice. Everyone is pleasant and friendly. It's very clean and neat with a good "homey" feel. I love it!!

Very clean facility with no obnoxious odors. Impressed with that. Staff aware of visitors and anxious to help. New furniture installed just of the large dining room for conversation areas. Nice looking furniture. Hallways are unusually wide and ceilings are high which gives it a very open and airy feeling. The artwork on the walls is beautiful. Met the director of nursing in the hallway. Was told she is almost never in her office. I think that is a good sign. She really knows the patients and isn't afraid to roll her sleeves up and help care for the patients. Therapy program is fantastic. The rehab people and send them home! That is the way it is supposed to work!
