“We have been eating here for over 7 years. I have NEVER had a bad meal. I have not always been impressed with the attitude of the staff in the old days, but here's the deal: You WILL NOT find a better Chicken Fried Rice anywhere within a 200 mile radius if not further. I won't even comment on how good the price is. They dice zucchini, corn, carrots, into the fried rice, and you can taste buttery goodness in every bite. The chicken is soft, with perfect white tender thinly sliced chicken, and then a touch of yum yum sauce and Sriracha and you have a plate full of happiness. Also, during the pandemic fiasco, we were very impressed with the work ethic of the staff and ownership of this resturant, and for feeding us when others were hiding in fear. We will always remember that. Oh, and that staff has gradually gotten more and more friendly over the years, and some of their recently hired staff is absolutely precious. We love this place. It deserves better reviews and smarter customers who aren't ignorant enough to leave 1 star reviews over having to pay for food and service.”

“What a great place to go and eat and have a cold beverage with family and friends. Very accessible by land or by water. They have a great menu to pick from and have indoor or outdoor patio seating. Every time we been they have someone playing on the patio overlooking the the lake. The service and staff are very friendly and extremely nice. Their fried banana peppers and hot wings are the best you’ll ever eat. I highly recommend Pier 59 to anyone and everyone.”

“I completely forgot how much flavor they can pack into a veggie. I ate the first half of the medium-sized sandwich without any hot sauce and enjoyed bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, tomato, but the second half was covered in Sorensen, a sweet, ketchupy, BBQ sauce, while the bread was also soaked with Cholula. When I arrived at 12:20 PM the line was 8 people deep and it took some time to get to the front but I believe the wait will be much shorter outside lunch hour. I ordered a medium veggie on wheat, was asked if I like a pickle, my sandwich "fully involved", if I want to make it a combo, if I want to round up the cost to the next full dollar for a good cause, and finally what my name is. All ordering was very smooth and the cashier didn't lose a single step when she heard my name. I was pretty satisfied and am still debating if 5 stars would be a more fitting rating.”

“This is the first time I have been to Pasquale's in 25 years! We used to go there as teenagers as a date. It brought back memories. The food was delicious then and it still is! One of my favorite things is the garlic bread. It is a bit different now but still good. They have remodeled the place but kept some of the old original booths. It looked so nice and clean.”

“So delighted to find this place. These may well be the best tacos in Shelby County. We didn't have a single taco we didn't like. I recommend eating all of them with a generous amount of salt added. If we had to choose, our favorites were roughly ranked in this descending order: Taco Mexicano (steak, carmelized onions, and spicy peppers) Al Pastor (pork and pineapple) Barbacoa (just add a little salt and it is great, doesn't even need salsa) Choriqueso (mexican sausage and cheese) Suadero Campechano Pollo Buche Carnitas The food is very authentic, they have their Al Pastor on a vertical spit over the grill, etc. Each meat was super flavorful, and uniquely seasoned, which brought out the depth and character of each meat. This is rare to see at a taco truck, especially one with as large a taco variety as this one. The tacos are a bit expensive and they are small sized, but it tastes like they use quality ingredients. I typically eat three tacos, or four if I am really hungry. Their Pollo Quesadilla is excellent too, grande sized, well seasoned, and with a nice mild salsa. The medium green sauce is the least spicy, with the red and yellow-green salsas being the hottest. I don't say this lightly, but the green sauce is some of the best salsa verde I have ever had. My favorite is to eat one bite of that, then one bite of the yellow salsa mixed with the red salsa, and repeat. Amazingly good. Also, the meat and veggies on some of their tacos are good enough to not even need salsa, which is impressive. I will say that I think their tortillas could be a little better, but great tortillas are really hard to pull off at a taco truck, so I get it. Overall, I would say this is an outstanding taco truck for the area, and I am delighted they are here. I'll be back for more! 😋”

“Food was good. I had the steak with green beans and fries. The steak was good on its on but didn’t seem like it was marinated. The green beans were good. The fries were basic crinkle cut fries. They didn’t have a special seasoning. Overall the meal wasn’t bad. I probably would go back to try the bbq and their hamburger, but I don’t think I would get a steak again. The service was great, everyone was friendly, and tended to our table.”
