Chuck Homan was the general contractor for my house that was built in 2008. I waited many years to finally build my dream house. So I was only going to choose someone who was professional, someone who listened to my choices and needs, and someone who would make sure that my house was well-built. Chuck Homan met those requirements and then some. He was always courteous and professional even as I struggled to make choices and often changed my mind. He paid attention to construction details, and he always listened to my inherent concerns since I was building for the first time with patience and grace. He offered me alternatives and options while meeting my goals and desires. Building a house is never easy, especially for the first time. But Mr. Homan ensured that it was a successful process. He knows his craft inside and out and never cut corners or gave me shoddy construction in any aspect of my house. I highly recommend Mr.. Homan and would use him again in a heartbeat if I had to embark on another construction project.

Chuck and his team did an excellent job remodeling an unfinished floor in our home for our daughter. The remodel required installing a shower in a bathroom, adding walls & doors, and new flooring. The remodel was completed according to our timeline and at a reasonable price. It has been 9 months since completion and we have not experienced any issues. Our daughter could not be happier.

We had three bidders compete for the construction of our new detached garage. Chuck Homan was not the low bidder, but his reputation as a fair and competent contractor pushed his bid to the top. The project ran from late April through early September. We were pleased with the communication through the project and only had one change order related to dirt work on the driveway to the new garage. Upon completion we were able to immediately start using the new space and have been very happy with the result. We would recommend Homan Inc. for work in South Central Alaska, and would consider Homan Inc. for any further work at our place.
