Matanuska Brewing Eagle River

Service (Andrea if I recall?) was wonderful and friendly! Food and beer was above average, but nothing spectacular. Expect significant waits for food when busy (beer service was quick, so we know this was no reflection on our waitress). We ordered a couple beers and a pizza shortly after sitting down and were there about an hour and a half.

This place is pretty great. They have a large food selection; pizza, burgers, or other sandwiches. They have a great set of options. They have pub food also. Then there's their pizza. The pizza options are great. The crust is awesome and you can find whatever you're looking for. Local beer and great service round out the experience. If you're in Eagle River, you need to visit this place.

As usual, the place was serving up some of the best grindage the great north has to offer. From the crisp and mouth watering IPA to the crunchy and delicious hand cut fries, you will not order the wrong thing. Try their Palmer location as well for the same amazing grub and entertainment.

This place was so good!! We are new here to Alaska and this was our first time eating at Matanuska! The food was absolutely fantastic and our server Greg at the Eagle River location was the best server we have ever had!!! He was so friendly, helpful and had a smile on his face the entire time. He even recommended a beer to my husband (which is now my husband's favorite beer). Thank you Greg for making our experience at Matanuska so amazing! This is our new favorite place and we will be back!

Very fun experience with my youngest son (an adult). It's a little loud, like many places. The live music was very pleasant. We both had halibut Olympia, which was tasty, especially placed on a large lettuce leaf & served with a generous helping of steamed broccoli. A roll or a little bread would have been a welcome addition, but the meal was adequately filling.
