“They sell a variety of things. I came in and bought some delish songpyeon (half moon shaped rice cakes that have sweet or semi sweet fillings) for my bosses and they loved them. I also bought some soy bean cakes and they liked those too. They have a variety of savory or sweet options. If you're up for variety stop in and grab something. Note: this is a little shop where you purchase your items and take them. Not a dine-in place.”

“Came in for a full sized. They were able to demo some twins. We found what we liked and got informed it would be several weeks for availability. With pfds in, stick was low. Staff was helpful and informed. We were only customers, but store was nicely arranged, coffee was not bad and it was comfortable. Paid for order and look forward to items. No issues experienced”

“Bateau is the ONLY of its kind here in Alaska! I moved here from Miami 6 years ago and when my husband and I got engaged I literally started looking at tickets to go down to california or seattle for the weekend to pick out the perfect wedding dress. I thought surely there were no places that carried the whimsical beauties and styles like BHLDN here in AK. Someone recommended I should check out bateau and though I was weary I went for it. It's a teeny little converted house in an area of town I don't usually go to ...and it's filled with MAGIC! They only take appointments so you have complete privacy to browse everything. The ladies are super helpful and their store is filled with gorgeous accessories as well. I ended up purchasing my wedding gown there, fur shawl and a gorgeous bridal headband. They had stunning bridal belts as well but I already had one for my special day. Would highly recommend any new brides to head to this place FIRST before trying any other salons in anchorage or the valley.”
