“True authentic. I'm originally from Florida,and I spend a lot of time in the Caribbean- and it mirrored exactly what you would find. I was pumping gas and saw the cuban sandwich in the window and couldn't resist checking it out... The best cuban I've had in a long while- and the absolute best in Anchorage. Most people think a cuban can be on any bread- but they were wrong. The other thing that floored me was the fried sweet plantains. I've tried to make them at and miserably failed, especially after tasting them again. I truly am stoked to try the fried green plantains next.”

When I ordered the sauce covered calamari as an appetizer, they didn’t give us any extra plates even if it was covered in sauce and messy to eat. The waitresses and waiters didn’t ask if we needed anything, nor did they ask if we wanted more drink refills while we were there for an hour and a half. If you are ok dealing with horrible service but want amazing and unforgettable food, I definitely recommend this restaurant. Thumbs up to the chef!”

“Tldr: Best Italian food ever (no exaggeration) Believe me when I say, this is the first review I've so looked forward to writing. Hands down, this is the best Italian food I've had. Ever. If I could sum this review up in one phrase it's an Italian grandmother humbly asking you: "Please try my homemade dishes made just for you." From the beginning, the food was stunning, like an art gallery for the tongue. I had the shrimp scampi which was savory. The waitress recommended it with garlic bread which was the best move. I ate as much as i could, expecting a moderately sized entree. Boy, was I in for a surprise! The fettuccine alla fiori I ordered was divine. The Alfredo sauce was thin and seasoned; the pasta was long, homemade, and well cooked. The shrimp and scallops were the perfect addition to the dish. The cook was an amazing artisan! Not to mention the incredible atmosphere and wait staff. A glass of wine and that setup is Italian as can be. I only wish I had room for dessert, and I have no idea how this is not a 5 star restaurant. Any time I visit Anchorage in the future, I'll be eating here.”

“Asian Authentication at it's finest! When we were stuck in the Anchorage, AK Airport for 8. 5 hrs, my husband started craving Asian food. I worried about eating Asian food from an airport, but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The BEST Chinese food my husband had ever had and the salmon was very good that I had as well. Neither of us got sick from it, which is a great thing since our light home was 8 hrs with a 2 hr lay over. Anyway, the food is amazing and not too pricey for the outstanding quality and service.”
