She loved it and the woman working the cash register was one of the friendlier people I’ve ever met working in an airport. I’d certainly come back again if we had a long layover in Anchorage.”

Hotel have a breakfast, also the staff is friendly but some times it seem like they are so stressed that customer service disappear. Maybe management can improve this. “I really enjoyed my stay during my trip to Alaska. I had no idea the Iditarod was starting the same weekend I was in Anchorage, but the festivities did not disappoint. The hotel is within walking distance of many things. I visited the museum, and a few restaurants and bars in the city as well as watched the ceremonial start of the race. Fletcher's, which is one of Cook's three restaurants, was fantastic. I went there several times for drinks and food. The service there was fantastic. The Captain's Deck had good breakfast and good afternoon snacks. The coffee was very good. All of the staff at the hotel is super great and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I will definitely return during a summer to experience the summer side of Alaska.”
