(October 14, 2021, 8:14 am)First time to Alaska so we took the time to go site seeing. Bison hall was a good choice. First, it's only an hour from Anchorage. Second, the drive down is beautiful so that 1 hour ride took over 2 hours. Great outdoor facility with animal enclosures. Took a funny photo of a black bear in a dead tree. Gift shop available. Check it out.

(August 11, 2019, 3:15 am)NOT A ZOO. Animals have space and are adequately cared for. Better than any zoo I've ever been to. Also the polar bear and elephant are no longer at the Alaska zoo, so the conservation center is a much better choice.
