(May 29, 2022, 11:12 pm)Absolutely stunning scenery! The trails are well-kept and are perfect for beginner hikers. This is a must-visit location for all out of state visitors. FYI: There is a $5 day parking fee.

(May 23, 2022, 1:39 am)Love the Turnagain Arm Trail from this point, it’s close to Anchorage and quickly gets you up above the road for very Alaskan views. There are vault toilets on site. We spotted dall sheep from the trail this time and have crossed baths with hare and black bear in the past. Parking is $5 (card & cash accepted), Alaska State Parks annual pass holders park for no additional fees.

(May 31, 2021, 3:32 pm)For our first trip to Alaska, this was an incredible stop. The beauty from the ocean and snow-capped mountains on one side and the waterfalls, creek, and hiking area on the other was amazing. The wind here is strong, so bring a jacket and beanie to stay warm!
