The Chicken Poutine was good but had a few too many competing flavors. Maybe skip the bang bang sauce. The cheesecake and chocolate cake were delightful. Overall, it is a nice place to relax and eat.”

“Somehow my dog got a stick stuck between her teeth at the roof of her mouth. She was freaking out and pawing at it and wouldn't hold still for me to get it. So I took her there about 15 min before closing and they got her in and said they'd call when she was all set. About 1.5 hours later they called and said all was well. Then another 1.5 hours after that (about 9pm) they said she is awake come get her. The next day when I went to settle the bill it was much less than expected! I highly recommend this vet and will use them again.”

“We booked through Air bnb spent the night in the cabin that was in front of the property. The cabin was adorable and has everything you need! Sleeps up to 4 people, with a private bathroom and shower, and has a full kitchen with a gas stove and oven! (Heads up, no microwave.) The bed was super comfy, cabin was clean, and the person we ran into who helped run the hostel was super kind. They have shared rooms available for a lower price, but the private cabin still cost half of what we would have payed at the Alyeska Hotel! Will definitely be coming back here for a weekend on the mountain!”

“Surprisingly I'd give this place five stars. Not because it's the nicest bowling place, but it's one of the nicer ones for being older. My family loves bowling, we've gone to a lot of lanes, but we walked into this one it was cleaner than most of them and didn't have that old smell. They had a little arcade room, a place to buy food, and lots of lanes. But we really liked the bowling lane system, the desks that you sit at to score. Those of all been updated and they're very fast, they count your score well, and the pins get reset much faster than other places. We felt like the game went smoother and faster during the transition of players. Plus we dealt with one of the workers, and he was such a nice guy. He was probably about 19 had a bunch of piercings, all dressed and dark, but he was such a nice kid. Really was kind of us, helped us out a bit, was very patient as we brought in a bazillion children.”

“Perfect laundromat for travelers. Super clean inside. ATM and coin changer available along with a stocked vending machine. Super clean bathrooms, and SHOWERS! 8 bucks for 14 minutes, I timed and it's an honest 14 minute shower. Water got hot almost immediately too so you're not wasting time waiting. 5 stars on that alone. Laundromat machines are plenty with various sized machines from small to huge industrial. Parking in the area seems free and there's a lot of it along with a lot for larger vehicles. Come on a weekend and do your laundry, visit the dispensary next door, and hit the farmers market 40 feet up the sidewalk!”

“I’ve still been trying to come up with the words to describe our experience with Carlos and Danielle after spending a day with them last week. My Dad passed away earlier this year as a result of a freak accident, a mere three weeks after my Grandfather. My family and I decided Alaska was the place we would spread his ashes as he always joked about going there and getting eaten by bears if he were to ever get a terminal diagnosis. . Ya know, the circle of life. With our travels, we knew we wanted to memorialize this moment with tattoos. After some research, my younger brother was set on having them done at Primal Instinct. I sent a message to their Facebook explaining why we were in Alaska and what we were thinking of getting. Without hesitation they agreed to take on all 7 of us as Carlos had a cancellation in his schedule. . What were the odds? The amount of healing that came from entering their shop is indescribable. Danielle, Carlos and their beautiful little girls greeted us with open arms. We spent the day talking about life, family, goals and everything in between. They allowed us to love on their babies and be our raw authentic selves without hesitation as they were with us. We left the shop with a sense of peace, beautiful artwork, and so much love for their family. . A family we plan on keeping in our lives for years to come.”
