(September 29, 2019, 2:44 am)We came after services have "closed", so had our pick of sites! This was a wonderful campground, clean, fantastic views. Had a great time!
(July 6, 2019, 2:32 pm)Sites go quickly at this campsite, try to reserve before you arrive. We got the last spot the night we arrived, it was small but private. The views of the river were great and if you like birding this was a great campsite!
(July 11, 2018, 8:04 pm)Granite Creek CG is small, so make reservations via Recreation.gov if you can, or get there before the weekend starts! Sites are not suited for large RV rigs, but are great for smaller ones and tents. Be bear aware, but do take advantage of all there is to offer with the creek and nearby Johnson Pass, a GREAT hike/single track mountain bike trail.
